At 10 ft/sec, the Petersen® FlowStop® has a maximum flow rate almost 20 times greater than the PeteStop®. Of course it is always best to stop flow during the installation of a line stop but if you are not able to, the FlowStop® is a possible solution. It is lighter weight, less stress on the pipeline, conforms to abnormal pipe conditions (debris, buildup, etc.) and has a smaller tap hole than a mechanical plug. Check out the FlowStop® here.
