At Petersen Products Co., we prioritize customer satisfaction and strive to make the return process as smooth as possible. Defective and unused products, including pipe plugs, inflatable stoppers, and drain flushers, may be returned within 30 days of purchase. Custom-made or special-order items, such as specially designed inflatable test plugs, require a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) before returning.
How to Request a Return at Petersen Products Co.?
For custom and special-order products, customers must request an RGA by contacting us via email at sales@petersenproducts.com, phone at 262-692-3100, or online form and providing their order number and reason for return. Products must be unused, undamaged, and free of hazardous materials to be eligible. Items that have been used, inflated, or installed require an RGA for return consideration.
Shipping & Handling
If a product is defective, return shipping costs will be covered by the company. Otherwise, the customer is responsible for shipping expenses. The RGA number must be included on the shipping label. For hazardous or used materials, shipping instructions should be verified with the carrier.
Restocking Fees & Refunds
A 20% handling and restocking charge applies to returned items. However, customers may request a waiver for this fee when obtaining an RGA. Refunds or store credits are available based on the condition of the returned item and its original purchase price.

Custom products and hazardous materials require an RGA before returning. Damaged or defective items, may be exchanged or returned after an RGA request. All returned products undergo inspection, and if found ineligible, no credit will be approved.
