Pipe Plugs, Multi-Flex® Chemical Resistant

The Petersen Products® Multi-Flex® pipe plugs are constructed from high-strength, flexible industrial materials, offering a significant deflated-to-inflated size range. They can adapt to almost any pipe configuration, including rectangular and elliptical pipes, as well as elbows. Multi-Flex® pipe plugs can navigate through very small openings and around bends and can be inflated with either a gas or water. These plugs can be connected in series for block and bleed applications. Petersen pipe plugs can be customized to meet specific size, pressure, temperature, and chemical requirements.

Standard Multi-Flex® plugs may not create a perfect seal for testing, and seepage past the plug may increase if the pipe diameter is reduced from its listed largest diameter. However, they can be customized to provide an enhanced seal for a specific diameter if needed. Molded rubber plugs and mechanical plugs may be better for testing especially at high pressures. Mechanical plugs must be used when a plug is the only means of blocking for personal protection.
